The story of the bravery of the Companions.

 One day, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was having an important discussion with his Companions in the Mosque of Madinah. The Companions included people of various ages and backgrounds, but all were filled with deep devotion and love for Allah and the Prophet (PBUH). The discussion was about Islamic ideals and the true nature of courage.

At this time a Companion, whose name was Abdullah, stood up excitedly and said, “O Messenger of Allah! I am ready to give my life for you. If ever your life is in danger, I am ready to take any risk for you.”

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) put a gentle smile on his face and told Abdullah, “True bravery is not only in words, but in deeds. If you want to show real courage, don't just talk big. Rather, show good behavior and integrity in every step of life.”

Abdullah was a little surprised. He realized that the pledge of life to the Prophet (PBUH) was not just an outward show, but his real bravery should be reflected in his conduct and character in his daily life.

Remembering the words of the Prophet (PBUH), Abdullah adopted a new attitude in his life. He started working hard to follow the path of righteousness and justice. There was more kindness and sincerity in his behavior. He was kind to everyone in the society, gave charity to the poor and never told a lie.

Meanwhile, a new crisis arose in the city of Medina. The townspeople suffered greatly due to a severe food crisis. Abdullah then adopted a plan. He collected food from his personal wealth and distributed it to the needy people of the city through the mosque. His actions made a deep impression on the people of the city.

One day, some city leaders and common people came to Abdullah and said, “We are grateful for your work. You have shown true courage, not just in words, but in action.”

Abdullah's eyes flashed with joy and pride. He understood the teaching of the Prophet (PBUH) that true bravery is not just outward show but follows the path of sincerity and righteousness. This should be reflected in every moment of his life.

Through this incident we learn that courage is not limited to the battlefield. It should also be reflected in our daily life, behavior, integrity, and love for people. True courage is to follow the path of honesty and justice in our conduct.

সাহাবীদের সাহসিকতার গল্প

 

একদিন, নবী মুহাম্মদ (সা.) মদিনার মসজিদে তাঁর সাহাবীদের সাথে একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ আলোচনা করছিলেন। সাহাবীদের মধ্যে ছিল বিভিন্ন বয়স ও পটভূমির লোক, কিন্তু সবাই ছিল আল্লাহ এবং নবী (সা.) এর প্রতি গভীর আনুগত্য ও ভালোবাসায় ভরা। আলোচনা চলছিল ইসলামিক আদর্শ ও সাহসের সত্যিকারের প্রকৃতি নিয়ে।

এ সময় একজন সাহাবী, যার নাম ছিল আবদুল্লাহ, উত্তেজনাপূর্ণভাবে দাঁড়িয়ে বললেন, “ইয়া রাসুলুল্লাহ! আমি আপনার জন্য জীবন দিতে প্রস্তুত। যদি কখনও আপনার জীবন বিপন্ন হয়, আমি আপনার জন্য যেকোনো ঝুঁকি নিতে প্রস্তুত।”

নবী মুহাম্মদ (সা.) তাঁর মুখে একটি মৃদু হাসি ফুটিয়ে আবদুল্লাহকে বললেন, “সত্যিকারের সাহসিকতা শুধু কথার মধ্যে নয়, বরং কাজের মধ্যে। তুমি যদি সত্যিকারের সাহসিকতা দেখাতে চাও, তাহলে শুধু মুখে বড় বড় কথা বলো না। বরং জীবনের প্রতিটি পদক্ষেপে ভালো আচরণ এবং সততা প্রদর্শন করো।”

আবদুল্লাহ কিছুটা বিস্মিত হলেন। তিনি বুঝতে পারলেন যে নবী (সা.) এর প্রতি জীবন দেওয়ার প্রতিজ্ঞা কেবল একটি বাহ্যিক প্রদর্শন নয়, বরং তার আসল সাহসিকতা তার দৈনন্দিন জীবনের আচরণ ও চরিত্রে প্রতিফলিত হওয়া উচিত।

নবী (সা.) এর কথাগুলো মনে রেখে, আবদুল্লাহ তাঁর জীবনে একটি নতুন মনোভাব গ্রহণ করলেন। তিনি শুরু করলেন সৎ এবং ন্যায়ের পথে চলার জন্য কঠোর পরিশ্রম। তাঁর আচরণে আরো ভালোত্ব এবং আন্তরিকতা এল। তিনি সমাজের সবার সাথে সদাচরণ করতেন, দান করতেন দরিদ্রদের সাহায্যে এবং কখনও মিথ্যা বলতেন না।

এদিকে, মদিনা শহরের একটি নতুন সংকট দেখা দিল। একটি ভয়াবহ খাদ্যসংকটের কারণে শহরবাসীরা খুবই কষ্টে পড়লেন। আবদুল্লাহ তখন একটি পরিকল্পনা গ্রহণ করলেন। তিনি নিজের ব্যক্তিগত সম্পদ থেকে খাদ্য সংগ্রহ করলেন এবং সেগুলি মসজিদের মাধ্যমে শহরের অভাবী মানুষের মধ্যে বিতরণ করলেন। তাঁর এই কর্মকাণ্ড শহরের জনগণের মধ্যে গভীর প্রভাব ফেলল।

একদিন, শহরের কিছু নেতা এবং সাধারণ মানুষ আবদুল্লাহর কাছে এসে বললেন, “আপনার কাজের জন্য আমরা কৃতজ্ঞ। আপনি সত্যিকার সাহসিকতা দেখিয়েছেন, যা শুধু মুখের কথার মধ্যে নয়, বরং কাজে পরিণত হয়েছে।”

আবদুল্লাহের চোখে তখন আনন্দ ও গর্বের ঝলক। তিনি বুঝতে পারলেন যে নবী (সা.) এর শিক্ষা যে, সত্যিকারের সাহসিকতা কেবল বাহ্যিক প্রদর্শন নয় বরং আন্তরিকতা ও ন্যায়ের পথ অনুসরণ করায়। এটি তাঁর জীবনের প্রতিটি মুহূর্তে প্রতিফলিত হতে হবে।

এই ঘটনার মাধ্যমে আমরা শেখি যে সাহস কেবল যুদ্ধের ময়দানেই সীমাবদ্ধ নয়। এটি আমাদের প্রতিদিনের জীবন, আচরণ, সততা, এবং মানুষের প্রতি ভালবাসার মধ্যেও প্রতিফলিত হতে হয়। সত্যিকারের সাহসিকতা হলো আমাদের আচরণের মাধ্যমে সততা ও ন্যায়ের পথ অনুসরণ করা।
